Robert Pattinson is busy promoting his latest film, Water for Elephants, due out April 22. It’s another film, however, that is getting most of the attention: Breaking Dawn.
Part one of the final installment of The Twilight Saga is due out this November. Breaking Dawn follows Edward and Bella as they get married and find out they are going to have a baby, a vampire and human hybrid. Pattinson called filming “hilarious,” according to USA Today.
Pattinson can’t see how the film is going to be given its usual PG-13 rating. The main story line is “so far outside of the box,” he says. “It’s really different from the other ones. There are some days on set just watching you go ‘How is this going to be PG-13?’ It’s like totally ridiculous.”According to NME, he told Entertainment Weekly Breaking Dawn has an “obscure storyline” and is “really outside the box.” He describes it as “a horror movie.”
But Pattinson himself didn’t think filming was horrifying; he found it hilarious. One thing he found most “hilarious” was the birth scene and Kristen Stewart’s baby bump.
“She has to have this pregnant suit on all the time, that was probably more annoying for her,” he said, admitting it was “kind of hilarious.”
Breaking Dawn features Stewart’s character, Bella, going through a lot of changes. The biggest change is when she turns into a vampire.
Pattinson said of Stewart’s character, “There’s some bits, especially towards the end of the movie, she’s just like the polar opposite of any of the other (films). I mean, she’s a different person, which is cool.”
He admitted Stewart makes the most convincing vampire out of all of the cast members.
“She looks completely different. She looks probably the most convincing vampire out of all of us,” he said. “A lot of us look like we’re just from Mars. She’s kind of the smallest one, but she suits being a vampire.”
