Actress Kristen Stewart (Bella) wants fans of the Twilight series to know that the latest installment, NewMoon, is going to turn Twilight on its side!
OnTheRedCarpet.com was at the New Moon junket with entertainment reporter George Pennacchio of ABC7 in Los Angeles and met with the 19-year-old starlet of the hit vampire series.
When comparing New Moon to Twilight, the young celeb says Twi-hards will be taken on a wild adventure, one that focuses on Bella and Jake’s new relationship.
“The first movie was very impulsive and it was all about discovery. You were watching these kids being fearless about something they knew nothing about, New Moon is a completely different story. It turns Twilight right over on its side — it takes Edward away. It sort of shatters that ideological idea of love that we presented in the first movie,” said Kristen. “The whole point of this — in my opinion — is to find Bella in a place where she has gotten to know herself well enough to make the decisions that she does.”
On a personal note, the actress says that pre-production and post-production of New Moon has been both exhilarating and exhausting.
I haven’t stopped working for two years. I feel like I am at a really good age to do that. If I stopped or was suddenly told to go home tomorrow I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. There have been a lot of high’s and lows, and that’s what I thrive on. It has been a lot of fun.”
Kristen says she and the cast have been too busy to be distracted by the paparazzi and the pandemonium that surrounds the set. And when asked about fame, the 19-year-old was all business, she simply said, I am fine with it.
