Kristen Stewart’s Snow White filming continues despite reports

Twilight star Kristen Stewart flew into London last week to start filmingSnow White and the Huntsman.

In an exclusive report on celebrity website Hollywoodlife.com, production on the movie was said to have come to a standstill due to the riots which have taken place across the capital over the past few nights.

Now it seems this is not the case and filming and prep for the shoot are reportedly carrying on as normal.

Variety film editor Josh Dickey Tweeted: “London riots have no effect on pre-production or production of SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN per Universal via @krolljvar”

Meanwhile, celebrities have been urging fans to get involved in the ‘Riot Cleanup’ through Twitter.

Queen of Shops, Mary Portas, said: “Let’s show the world who the REAL Londoners are – follow @Riotcleanup and help clear up our communities.”

Singer Jessie J has been extremely vocal about events and she Tweeted: “Calling all #heartbeats please go to www.riotcleanup.com and see where you can help get London back to how we all deserve it to be. #riotcleanup”

Kate Nash and members of the Kaiser Chiefs were amongst the famous faces who got out on the street to help residents start the cleanup.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson Tweeted to encourage his 23, 698 followers to borrow a broom and help repair the devastation caused throughout the city.

He said: “Camden Chalk Farm. Me and @curlywand will there in a bit with our brooms. Get to one near you today if you’re about.

The details of their journey continued: “In a ‘Handy Mob’ on the train. We’re all armed with brooms. Least threatening mob ever. One girl has a jay cloth.”
